About Michelle

Michelle Littlefield was born in Portland, Maine, and is the youngest of three children raised by a single mother in Scarborough. Michelle moved to Gorham in 2013 with her husband, Tristan, shortly before welcoming their second child. Tristan grew up in Gorham and attended Gorham elementary schools. When Michelle and Tristan started their family, they always hoped to raise their children in Gorham and are so happy to call this town their forever home.

Michelle holds a Bachelor's in Journalism from the University of Maine - Orono, and earned her Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016. Michelle also earned a certificate in Higher Ed Administration from Cornell University, and holds 12 professional technical certifications.

 

With almost 20 years of professional experience, Michelle's career began in marketing but eventually she landed at the University of New England where she worked for nearly 8 years. As Assistant Dean of Finance & Strategy, Michelle was pivotal in the establishment of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies where she led non-academic operations including finance, technology, marketing, admissions, and student support services. Michelle was responsible for a multi-million dollar operations budget in her role and managed a staff of more than 25.

 

Following her tenure at UNE, Michelle became Lead Education Solution Architect at Traction on Demand, a Salesforce Implementation Partner based in Vancouver, B.C. In this role, she helped successfully implement Salesforce (a cloud-based software platform) at K-12 schools, higher education institutions of all types, and non-profit organizations. In 2023, Michelle began her own consulting firm focused on education and non-profit technology implementations.
