Michelle holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maine, an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, and a certificate in Higher Ed Administration from Cornell University. Michelle worked at the University of New England at Assistant Dean of Finance & Strategy, and is now a Higher Ed Consultant.
Michelle was born in Portland, Maine, and was the youngest of 3 children raised by a single mother in Scarborough. Michelle moved to Gorham in 2013 with her husband, Tristan. They have two children, Charlie and Nora, who attend Gorham Middle School and Village Elementary.
Michelle has volunteered in Gorham's elementary schools since her children enrolled, most recently volunteering once per week at Village Elementary. She also volunteers time with the Gorham Community Action Committee, and has formed local volunteer user groups related to her role in education technology.
